Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tailswatch website, smart QR pet tags and subscription service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, placing an order or using a tag, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Tailswatch does

Tailswatch sells QR pet tags and runs an online pet-profile service. When someone scans your pet's tag, they see the profile you have set up and can contact you or share their location with you.

Tailswatch is not a GPS tracker. We only receive a location when the person who scans the tag chooses to share it from their own phone. We cannot locate your pet on our own.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep them up to date. An out-of-date phone number defeats the purpose of the tag.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.

3. Orders, prices and payment

• All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Tags are paid for cash on delivery. Your order is charged at the price shown when you placed it, even if prices change before it is delivered.
• We may cancel an order if the details are incomplete, the delivery address cannot be reached, or the product becomes unavailable. You will not be charged for a cancelled order.

4. Subscriptions

• A tag only shows your pet's profile while your account has an active subscription.
• Subscriptions are paid by bank transfer. Transfer the exact amount shown for your plan, as payments are matched to plans by amount; a different amount may delay activation.
• Plans run for the period you paid for (30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly) and do not renew automatically. We email you a reminder 7 days, 3 days and on the day before your plan expires.
• If a plan expires, the tag stops showing your details until you renew. Your pet's profile and scan history are kept so you can pick up where you left off.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to track a person or an animal you do not own;
• put false, misleading or offensive content on a pet profile;
• try to access other users' data, interfere with the Service, or copy or resell it.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Finders and third parties

Finders are members of the public. We cannot control whether someone who finds your pet scans the tag, contacts you, or shares their location, and we are not responsible for their actions. Messages through WhatsApp and deliveries through our courier partner are also subject to those providers' own terms.

7. Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Tailswatch is not liable for the loss, injury or death of a pet, or for indirect or consequential losses, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the laws of Pakistan that cannot be excluded.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will also be emailed to account holders.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
